The Reconciliation Project
Political affiliations and media-driven hyperbole are destroying our nation. Our addiction to binary us/them thinking is the path to permanent conflict, distrust and even violence. But we can choose a different path, a path of salvation, of playfulness. A path that is based in real human connection.
Find the we

Community based
I work with you and the civic and spiritual leaders in your community to assemble a blended group of red and blue, who are invited to a day of games and bridge-building. Participants self-select as people who are invested in looking for the we.
The workshop does not name any political or cultural figure, nor any political party or ideology. It is promoted as a fun event for people who are tired of all the shouting and conflict, and who are ready to listen deeply in heartfelt conversations.

Playfully created
This workshop is either a half day, or a full day with a lunch break. It uses the techniques I have developed to serve multinational corporations and community-based nonprofits. Starting with games, laughter opens the door to connection and empathy. Scenarios performed by our actors help us ease into the difficult stuff.
Follow up actions and meetings are built into the end of the workshop, so people leave knowing they have a plan to see each other again.
